Mango Sojourn

Just a short 40 km journey from Lucknow lies Malihabad, famously known as the mango belt of the region. This countryside produces a truly unique variety of mango called ‘Dushehri’, which flourishes in the specific climatic conditions found only around Lucknow. We invite you to immerse yourself in this distinctive mango culture, where mangoes are deeply ingrained in the local way of life. Picture yourself in the heart of the mango orchards, surrounded by the sweet scent of ripening fruit. You’ll have the opportunity to sit under the shade of the mango trees, perhaps relaxing on a traditional jute cot, and savour the exquisite taste of freshly picked Dushehri mangoes, naturally cooled in a bucket of water. This is a chance to experience the authentic mango lifestyle of Lucknow’s countryside.
