Grave Tending
Lucknow and Kanpur hold significant historical importance, particularly concerning the Indian Mutiny of 1857 and the subsequent British Raj era until 1947. Many British individuals made these cities their home and were laid to rest in local graveyards and surrounding areas. Over time, unfortunately, some of these old graves are often left unattended and fall into disrepair due to natural elements.
At Tornos, we deeply appreciate the sentiments of the families connected to those buried here. To address this, we offer specialized Grave Tending services. Since 1997, our dedicated research team has been locating these graves upon request, provided with specific essential information. To date, we have successfully located approximately 137 graves. Furthermore, we offer an adoption service, allowing families living abroad to entrust us with the ongoing care of their loved ones’ final resting places.
