Telecommunications at Tornos is a vital point of contact. We have seven landline phones and 22 dedicated mobile (CUG) phone numbers assigned to each of our senior team members, ensuring effective communication for guest handling. Additionally, we operate a 24/7 contact point referred to as the Duty Officer (0-9935538105), which includes WhatsApp for convenience. The Duty Officer serves as the primary contact person on a shift basis, equipped with all the information regarding daily operations and able to address any spontaneous service requirements outside of office hours.

Our website, www.tornosindia.com, serves as a virtual encyclopedia for our destination, showcasing all our experiential products. It focuses less on our organization and more on the unique offerings of the destination, making it an invaluable resource for framing itineraries or gathering destination information.

‘LUCKNOWLEDGE’ is our monthly e-newsletter, distributed to approximately 15,000 registered recipients. An exclusive editorial and product team works tirelessly to bring you the latest updates from our destination, empowering our clients with essential knowledge. Our social media presence is also quite active, primarily using Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram as our main channels.

In keeping with technological advancements, we have integrated all our bookings into a custom-made software called ‘Precision‘. Once bookings are received, they are entered into this system, and each movement is assigned a Unique Identification Number (UID) for better tracking and management. Additionally, an automated confirmation is sent to our clients, ensuring that their booking has not only been received and confirmed, but that it will also be reflected in our ‘daily movement chart’ when the time comes. This process helps eliminate any potential human error or omission on the movement date. As an extension of this software, we have implemented a billing system that generates highly secure, digitally signed, GST-compliant tax e-invoices. These invoices are sent via email, can be opened in any internet browser, and can be printed for record-keeping at the recipient’s end if necessary.

Tourist Guide Systems allows our guest to hear the guides clearly, even from a distance. ‘Reference Guiding’ is another innovative approach where our tourist guides and the walk leaders give insights and explanations to our guests using old pictures and maps displayed on handheld tablets.
